It includes understanding professionalism and professional values in education and training, the policy context of education and training, the impact of being accountable to stakeholders and external bodies, and the organisational context of education and training. It also includes understanding and contributing to the quality improvement and quality assurance arrangements of an organisation.The concept of professional practice is controlled and directed by a number of important documents in the form of guidelines and standards. Throughout this unit, a number of detailed papers are identified for study.
