Students on our Fashion and Textiles online course can complete the OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Fashion and Textiles (120 credits), designed to provide the knowledge, practical skills and creative understanding needed to progress to higher education or begin a career in the fashion and textiles industry.
The course is completed entirely online, allowing you to start at any time and study at your own pace. Consisting of six mandatory units worth a total of 120 credits, the qualification covers fashion and textile techniques, design and innovation, creative development, professional practice and a final major project.
Each module includes guided online learning alongside additional study materials, such as recommended exercises, readings, digital resources and self-assessment activities.
The course is assessed entirely through assignments, with no exams. Once you’ve successfully completed the qualification, you’ll be awarded the OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Fashion and Textiles, enabling you to progress to Level 4 study or a range of fashion, textiles and related creative degree programmes at UK universities.

The Level 3 Diploma in Fashion and Textiles has 6 written assignments. The assignments are approximately 2,000-3,000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
